My name is Munib Abid, and I’m in the ABSN program. I was in the Doctor of Pharmacy program at UNE, where I was doing well academically but decided to do what I’d be happier with. My curiosity for nursing came when I learned more about the profession after an ankle surgery.
I’m social at heart and want to do the best for others. As a first-generation college student, the ability to speak multiple languages, and understanding how most medications work I found the transition to be a no brainer. I knew I could relate to patients on a personal level, and give them the best care they deserve. My end goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner.

In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, soccer, and weightlifting.
